Job Title: Functional Analyst

Location: Brussels

About the Role

Our client, based in Brussels, is looking for a Functional Analyst to join their IT team. In this role, you will act as the link between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that user requirements are clearly understood and translated into high-quality functional analyses.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business analysts and software engineers in Agile squads
Gather, analyze, and validate user requirements
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications
Support the development team by providing structured analyses
Ensure solutions meet user expectations and quality standards

Your Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of UML and SQL Server
Familiarity with XML/XSD (Enterprise Architect is a plus)
Agile knowledge is a plus
Fluent in one national language + basic knowledge (A2) of the other, with willingness to improve
Autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented
Eager to learn and grow in a fast-evolving IT environment
Alignment with the client’s values and mission

Must Have

Bachelor Degree or Higher
Passion for software products
Perfect written English

Experience in writing online content
